Groentebedrijf Baetsen is based at Witveldweg 9 in Grubbenvorst. The business is run by brothers René and Teun Baetsen. Groentebedrijf Baetsen is a modern open-field fresh produce business specialised in carrot and celeriac cultivation. One of the cornerstones of the business is the cultivation of tasty, high-quality produce using the lowest possible amount of environmentally-unfriendly chemicals.

Cultivation is socially responsible, with consideration for people, animals and the environment. Groentebedrijf Baetsen B.V. is GlobalGap, On The Way to PlanetProof, TUV and QS-certified. The business grows sweet Mastro-variety carrots year-round. Everything is grown in the high sandy soil of North Limburg within a 25km radius of the business. The carrots are harvested fresh daily, and then polished to ensure that the colour remains optimal (staying a lovely orange after drying). Groentebedrijf Baetsen's range includes peeled carrots as well as the traditional washed carrots. As the finishing touch, the carrots are packed according to the buyer's requirements.
